Checklist For Buying At Auction

 

Pick up your catalogue on arrival

Get your bidding number at reception. Bring along a €500 deposit. This will be refunded to you if you do not purchase a vehicle.

Take your time to view the cars that interest you before the auction begins and set your budget. If you want to know the auction value of the car checkout Snapshot.

We recommend that you bring along a mechanic or someone who knows about cars with you or we can arrange to have a Merlin Engineer inspect the car for you.

Make sure to pay attention to the vehicle grading, engineers report and car history report which will be displayed on the car or you can review online.

Position yourself where you can see the auctioneer and the cars as they drive through during the auction.

Once you bid successfully, go straight to the sales area, where our customer service staff will complete the sales paperwork. You might like to visit us once, before you intend to bid or watch an auction online. This will help you familiarise yourself with the process.
